Session 1: Changing Families in Indian Society

The NIMHANS Heritage Museum in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Mental Health Education organized a Webinar Series on Families in India for Public. It was an informative session on “Changing Families in Indian Society” which discussed the importance of families from a developmental perspective, their transition in recent times, strengths and weaknesses of Indian families. The session will have Dr Mathew Varghese, Senior Professor, Department of Psychiatry, NIMHANS, Dr Anisha Shah, Professor, Department of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS and Dr N. Janardhana, Professor, Department of Psychiatric Social Work, NIMHANS as panellists and will be moderated by Dr Ahalya Raghuram, Former Professor and Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS.
